My version doesn't need configuring, just menu Tools ==> Run, browse and 
select the exe you want to run it (exw40.exe for me), set the options, and 
click it Ok. If there is an ex.err, tell Textpad to check for updates and prompt
for refreshing files when changed. 

And get one of the Eu syntax coloring and keyword files. There's one on the 
Textpad webpage, and one in the RDS archives.
