I see.

Thanks.

Context menu belonging to the editing area:
   Cut
   Paste
   Copy
   Delete
   ------
   Select all

Edit menu additionally:
   Search
   Replace
   Search previous
   Search next

Context menu belonging to the file tabs:
   Close

Perhaps some people would like to have the search/replace commands in
the edit menu, while others would prefer to have them in a separate menu.
The Total Commander reads the content of all menus (except of the
context menus) at startup from a text file. (I can send it to you if you
want.) So each user can configure the menus her/himself individually.
Perhaps you like to apply that idea to Edita.

That would be nice IMHO.

Someday people would like to translate Edita to other languages.
I can imagine to do so (-> German), this is not a promise though. blink
Maybe you can save all menu entries and other text in a way, that
supports translation.
I'm distributing some programs both in English and German. All text
is stored in constants. There are two included files 'prog_en.e' and
'prog_de.e' where the actual text is assigned to the constants.
Formerly, I had to change one of the commands "include prog_en.e" or
"include prog_de.e" to a comment, now all this is handled by my
preprocessor.

Also important IMHO (and easy to do): Open (at least) one file that is
given on the command-line. This would also provide the simples way to
allow to "associate" files (such as .txt, .e, .ex etc.) with Edita.
