Yes, though they can also all be built using the other 
supported DOS/WIN C compilers.

check_break/allow_break is something that I need to
test & document more carefully, since it could depend on 
C compiler, operating system, GUI/non-GUI mode of operation etc.

All it's meant to do is give you a way to block control-C.
