It would be extremely speculative to blame with windows 98 for this vs
windows 95. The problems usually occur in programs, but are caused due to
the bad architekture. Windows 98 is just win95 OSR2 + latest bugfixes + IE4
+ latest bug-fixes..
What a positive attitude to think that they actually made something new,
that might contain new bugs. In other words it is more stable, and they
wouldnt be moving to Fat32 if it wasnt better, and it is. Its much faster,
and it has a much better eh.. hardrive corruption protection.. (something
they needed themselves I guess.. debuggin the windhoos can corrupt your HD)
In other words, you may dislike MS strategy and their software, but it is
always 'improving' .. I never seen any MS product that was worse, than what
they had an version prior to that.. (except mayeb Vb5 vs Vb3)
