Merry Xmas! Presents time...
I've been beavering away with the hobby projects I never shut up about:
SPLIT and my TEXT_GUI recoding.
The latest versions have been bugtested as far as I can handle them (which
makes a change in the case of SPLIT ;) ).
Get the *new* SPLIT099.ZIP and TGUI2CRW.ZIP from my Euphoria page under
the recommended packages section.
SPLIT now deals with floppy disks without crashing and causing Causeway
errors. *Stupid* bug. The package contains every single bit of source code
I've used in it, including Francis Bussiere's Dir95.E
and J. Craig Gilbert's DiskUtil.E. The docs have been included/updated
too.
As for tgui2crw, there's only four changes from previous versions:
i) An alteration - Better .INI handling. (Worth the download just for
this!)
ii) Two "bug"fixes of David C's code:
a) F3 calls up the Find dialog when EE can't "Repeat Last Find"
Just like in EDIT.
b) Saving Euphoria files now uses the same tab-format as ED.EX.
(I fixed the retab_text() function). Result: Smaller codefiles!
iii) A bugfix of my code - Bracket_Colours() wasn't being used in some
places causing the Default button in the colours dialog to send the
bracket colours (surprisingly :) ) haywire.
Still to come:
i) Handling of more than one document name on the command line.
ii) Extra built-in colour schemes.
iii) I'm sure I could go on forever tweaking :)
