i have also experienced this problem though. i think it is the problem 
with this tk_files most especially tk_mem.e. download win32lib 55.5 by 
martin.

the treeview icons act well for me. i'm soon releasing a program that 
shows extra stuff tree views can do? meanwhile take a critical look at 
EDS GUI by Tone Skoda. there is a lot to learn.

using tk_files on different win32libs brings rear results. when you 
create a flattoolbar usin win32lib.ew 55.1 and you have more than around 
5 icon buttons. i used to receive alot of memory leak causing my system 
to slow down. luckily i downloaded ver55.5 by martin S and Dereck
