I only guessed at the time as I didn't actually put any timing coding in it. Also, I have tried to optimise it either. Once I found out it ran so fast, I couldn't see the point in doing any more tweaking. And no, I won't be submitting any entries into any of the three competitions. I will be submitting programs to Robert just for fun though. More of a personal challenge than anything else. ---- Derek.
