AC, do you have a provision for dealing with named fields? For instance, if
I wanted to get the data from a field called "Customer_Name_Last," I could
just use that field name in the query. This would also be helpful for
display items.
My idea a long time ago was to have "hidden" tables that tracked field
names. For instance, _fieldnames would be a table in any database that
stored the field names for each respective field. I don't know if this is
applicable or not. I also created a _mask table that (obviously) served to
mask data input, and thought that a _relationship table might be nice to
indicate what fields were related to what fields in what [other]
database(s).
