Put one there. I believe the .SAM in this case is "sample". It should have the 
localhost 127.0.0.1 line in it. Copy it over to the same dir without the 
extension. You can add as many lines to it as you wish, i have 1,660 
advertiser domains pointed to 127.0.0.1 , heh. You can add abbreviations to 
that file, for domains with long names that you might type a lot. (or just use 
the favorites list.)

Ok, but the AOL software still does two things, it modifies winsock, and 
establishes a VPN to AOL. I don't know what it does to winsock, or what is 
done to IE to become an aol browser.
