I haven't used colinux but I've used something similar in the past.
I've got enough HD space to dedicate a lot to Linux.

I tried instaling Ubuntu but it didn't work for me. It didn't detect
the DHCP on my router and Gnome keeps restarting at the GDM prompt.
Also GRUB messed up because of my setup and I couldn't boot Windows.
Fortunately I was able to fix that by hunting and pecking until it works.

I've wanted to try Gentoo or Linux From Scratch but I'm not quite there
yet. I also like Gobolinux because it is quite different.

I should have just set up my HD space for linux and used a live cd but I
didn't think of that until I had already installed it and messed up my
computer.

[POLL] For the Linux users on this list, what distro are you using?
