This is why I'm holding off development on the new SynEdit control, 
which ideally could be accessed like a RichEdit, but has extended 
functionality (bookmarks, folding, adjustable selection, ...).The other 
reasons are disenchantment over RDS and my spending time playing bridge 
on the net :).
If you are interested in my helping with your "alternative 
implementation", just let me know...
