Actually that turns out not to be the case. According to the licence one
gets when you buy a copy of the source code, so long as you don't enfringe
on a few specifically (and explicitly) documented areas (such as the trace
and binding facilities), one is free to do whatever with the source code.
Including derivative languages.

Bach openly admits that its is an extension of Euphoria and ackowledges that
source.

Copyright for the RDS Euphoria interpreter belongs with RDS. Copyright for
the Euphoria extensions (Bach interpreter) belongs Karl.

Anyone can write their own Euphoria interpreter or compiler, not using RDS
code as a base, without infringing on RDS's rights. In fact, the new 2.5,
will encourage more people to do just that.
