Thanks for that code, Wolf... I'm getting this error when I try to print 
a bitmap that I've opened (printing the smiley face works fine):

C:\Documents and 
Settings\Administrator\Desktop\wolf_printing\bits8.exw:394 in procedure 
print_pic() 
type_check failure, map is 3 

It happens after I click "OK" on the print dialog to start printing.
