Funny characters in mails

I (and all of the list readers) have noticed that sometimes mails sent to
the list have funny characters in it. Spaces are replaced by =20,
equal-characters (=) get replaced by =3D, and perhaps other characters are
also replaced.

Robert, isn't the mailing list filtered by the ListFilter-software you
created (in Euphoria!) ? And could it be possible for that software to
detect funny characters like that and replace them by the original
characters? From observing the mails with funny characters, I think it's
just =XX that needs to be replaced by the character with ASCII-code XX (XX
= hexadecimal code).
