So far, debug.log suggests that a failure occurs (for a few people -- not the vast majority) within a couple of hundred C statements from the start of main() in exw.exe when a certain C routine is called.=20 All of the code looks very innocent, so I'm checking this time to=20 see if the code for that routine has been corrupted.
