Two Problems

Hello everybody. I have been having a few problems with some programs
that I have written. The first program is with a simple password program
that I intended to include in my autoexec.bat (really only to keep my
room mate out. Nothing high security.) The problem is that when my
computer starts up, the program runs and closes, then windows continues
loading, then freezes with a black screen. It seems like all the drivers
have been loaded, but the screen remains blank with no input availible.
When I restart, remove the program from autoexec.bat and let it start up
normally windows says the video drivers are not correctly installed, and
are still in the same state as they were previously.

A second problem is with a simple christmas tree program I am goofing
around with. I have tried it on multipul computers, and only on some
does the problem occure. Perhaps the problem is with the graphics mode,
but occasionally the orange ornament does not work.(When using this program, use
q to quit. Click on ornaments, click on tree.)

I wasn't able to attach source to both of my programs ziped up, but you can get
the source here:http://members.aol.com/ThatNerd/files.zip, caps count. I would
appreciate it if someone could help me out. I am running a win95
machine, and tests were performed for the christmas tree program on all
platforms. Thanks to anyone who can help
