Since I don't hate typing (or, at least, not as much as you do) would 
you mind terribly if I change this? I know it won't affect anyone else 
besides me right at the moment, but someone else might eventually ask me 
for the massaged-for-BSD version of this library. If you don't like the 
idea, I'll keep an extra copy of the library code around that isn't 
doctored this way.
