Hi Pete! Sorry it took me so long to respond. I didn't notice your message until today when I did a forum search for "ElektroStatik". Let me first admit that the program still is in a very incomplete and experimental stage. It's definitely not "user friendly". The only reason I uploaded it at all was I thought maybe someone would find the sourcecode useful, as an example of very simple realtime sound synthesis. It's been quite a while since the last version (0.14) was released. But I haven't stopped working on it! I'm rewriting everything from scratch now. The new working name is "WaveMatrix" =) Hopefully I'll have something to release by the end of this month. The bug that caused the weird random machine-level exceptions you describe when running the .exw file is (hopefully) fixed in this new unreleased version. B.t.w, are you sure you got an exception when running the .exe file too? Did you open a demo-file or edit some sound parameter tracks before pressing play? Otherwise, of course there would be no sound =) If there are any Eu-programmers out there interested in music/sound programming, then feel free to contact me. Maybe we can collaborate? And composers/trackers/ sound designers are welcome to send me anything they create with the program. And of course I welcome any (constructive) criticism. My email address is in the readme file. /Adam
