Absolute PIDL from relative PIDL ?

Hello there,

(Working on LaunchPad)

I need to get an absolute pidl from a relative pidl.
I can get the relative pidl from the objects IDataObject interface,
but i need an absolute pidl so i can use it more effectively.
I guess this means i need to 'convert' the relative pidl to an
absolute pidl, but it's been a while since i've worked with this
stuff.

Any ideas?
If not, how about a web site that deals with questions like this?
