Ok, thanks, useful info, but what to LFN themselves, I do not like them and almost never use them for my own files. Why? See please a screenshot of my Linux Mandrake 10.0 machine, it is 120K image: http://www.private.peterlink.ru/kinz/long.png It is a 'lib' directory. Just try to read the file names here to see who is who. Do you see the ppp.e Euphoria file? And others, with long names?
