Hello,
There is now a launching program available in the archives.
With this program you create panels of hot track buttons that
open your programs or web sites when you click their buttons.
The buttons can point to anything on the computer or web,
and can be made any color. To help target programs find the
correct current directory there is a "Working Directory" entry
for each button that can be set to whatever your program needs.
The programs main window also reads standard shortcuts as well
as internet shortcuts so you can drag anything onto the property
sheet to have a button created automatically that points to your
program or web site.
An "Explore" menu option allows you to right click on a button
and explore its target directory instead of opening the program.
Other features include swapping buttons, swapping tabs, and copy
and paste a button from one Launch Pad to another or from one
tab to another, etc.
I've been using this version for some time now and i've passed
previous versions around to people to try and so far everyone
has reported good results. So far there has been no report of
a program or web site that wouldnt open.
Dont forget to click "File/Save Buttons and Tabs" in order to save
any buttons or tabs you've created or modified.
There is an example ini file included, but you can delete all those
buttons and make your own or delete the whole file and start over.
