Brian,

That's an interesting, albeit circuitous, workaround, especially the
"auto-trash if not self-sent" feature!  I think I tried something similar,
by forwarding "non-topical subject-header emails" back to myself, with a
more useful subject line, but it became too much of a hassle, and it removed
the original *sender* from the "from", which can also sometimes be useful to
search on.

Wouldn't it be nice for just about everyone here if everyone wrote subjects
for their forum postings which explained the *content* of their posting?
