Rob:

   If you are using the console window in EXW I think you would
   have to be using the UNICODE functions.
   What happens if rforno goes to the a DOS PROMPT in windows
   and types does that allow theáéíóúüñ¿¡ to be displayed on
   the screen; if not he may have to do something to install
   the special character set so it will work in a DOS window.
