i've been writing a new VM lately, based on xVM, which was ultimately based on my original 86VM. it should be at least a minor curiosity :) i coded the ROM, a small demo OS, devices, and stuff myself. if you're interested, the full source is at http://geocities.com/euman2376/mvm.html
