Hello Ray, I think my previous mail was somewhat imprecise. When I replied to you, I also had in mind, what some others wrote about this topic. You could not know that, of course, because I didn't write it. > Hi Juergen, > jluethje at gmx.de wrote: >> I personally would *not* like to have several mailing lists instead of >> one. > I propose 3. >> I agree: it will be the same as now ... just from 3 different lists. >> So, where will be the advantage? > There are two advatages that I see to splitting the list as I proposed: > 1. OK, only 3 lists from the same list server will be easily manageable, I think. > I don't see how we would end up recieving more adds?? > In nearly all cases any technical problems will effect all 3 lists. I thought of the scenario, that several unofficial list were set up on *different* servers. Now I get not too few mails with "TopOffers" from TopOffers at Topica.com, and I have no additional need for "BestOffers" from BestOffers at Bestica.com and "NiceOffers" from NiceOffers at Nitica.com . That's what I meant. > I don't see much confusion about which list to post questions to. > If you have just started using Euphoria or have a simple question > use the newbie list. With no more than 3 lists, all from the same server, I'll have no problem, too. > Regards, > Ray Smith > http://rays-web.com Best regards, Juergen
