Q... nothing to do with Star Trek

This is quite a puzzle for me. I have a screen full if editText fields. Some
of the fields have a pick list popup if the ajacent button is clicked, or
you press F2 when the field has focus. The problem is if you type a lower
case 'q' the picklist will also pop up. I have no idea why....any
suggestions would help. no other keys will do this, not even a cap 'Q'. Does
'q' have anything to do with 'F2'??
