Turn on two switches (e.g. sw1 and sw2) for some time. Then, turn of 
one switch (e.g. sw2). Go to the basement and check for: 1. Light on is 
sw1, 2. Light off and hot (warm) is sw2, 3. Remaining (cold off light) 
is sw3.
