RE: Euphoria web usage analysis
Well, I just went back and checked the support forum messages again, and
there are recommendations of a couple of programs. One, webtrends, is
highly recommended but costs hundreds and even thousands of dollars
depending on options.
Analog (www.analog.cx) is also available. The author provides it free,
apparently as a labor of love, either as c source code or as binaries
for certain platforms. It can be paired up with reportmagic
(www.reportmagic.org), also free, to get more graphical reports. This
is also available as source or binary, but the source is perl, so I
expect the binary is compiled perl which really only saves the time of
the compilation portion of perl's processing as I understand it.
In any event they are not reporting readily available alternatives, and
the basic analog package claims to be very fast (something like 10gb of
log data processed in 20 minutes on a 266mhz box, if I remember the
stats right), so a euphoria report analyzer might not be as tempting as
I had thought it would be. It is still an interesting thought.
