IDE users: Important question

Does anyone using IDE save a PRJ and PRI files under the same file name?

I'm looking to eliminate the PRI file and always save as PRJ with an 
entry to indicate the user selected the generated output as exw, e or 
ew. 

I've been asked when the next IDE release will be. It looks like 
sometime in March. Middle March I hope unless testers find more bugs.
