It's more internet-friendly - ftp, mail, http connections are dead simple. it's object oriented, and has a real exception handling mechanism. It is interactive, so you can try out code snippets from the command line. If runs on Linux, Windows, DOS, OS/2, Mac, Amiga, maybe others. You can see for yourself http://python.org Regards, Irv
