Help with Bind & Shroud

Hi,
    Could someone help with Bind Shroud ?
    I shroud a .ex file ans the .il will work with backend etc

    But when I bind the .il I get a message that the .il is in
    the incorrect format.

    If I bind a .ex then I get O is not declared .
    
    The .ex file works fine .

    I must not be doing something right ! 

    But What ??  I'm lost !
