Re: Global = root of all evil

I've only written small programs, but I've never had a problem with globals.
Probably because I almost never use them. Good programming practice says, "Thou
shalt not pollute the Global Namespace unnecessarily."

I feel less strongly about pros and cons of globals than I do about, say, goto.
