Hi everyone,

Thanks for all reactions. I haven't had time yet to experiment with the 
suggestions but I certainly will. Meanwhile I was working on a print 
function. I now know how to print a bitmap. I didn't manage to print a 
pixmap however. In the example I use the bitmap is converted to a 
"double" sequence. During that proces some specifications are "saved" 
for later use. I already built a facility to save the content of a 
window as a bitmap. But it is SLOW (takes about a minute). I'll come 
back to that later. So the best option is to send the pixmap directly to 
the printer. Somehow a pixmap is a different sequence thant the earlier 
mentioned "double" sequence {{palet}, {pixels}}. I also miss the "saved" 
specifications. I need more time to figure this out or does anyone know 
a program that prints a pixmap? It's not that exotic, is it?
