Wolfgang, you bring up a good idea. Have you tried setting up a Ramdisk, and loading all of the files that will be accessed into it. It cuts down on harddrive wear-and-tear and is several times faster (though not as fast as having it in direct memory). You can find the way to install it, and it is very easy to do, in the post forum under 'RAMDRIVE'. Norm
