A small financial program
1) A popular, free, daily report re stock prices is available from
infobeat. After you set your stocks of interest, they send a daily report,
at about 9 PM EST (ie New York time), with the closing prices on the stock.
2) Other companies also allow the setting of number of shares for each
stock, then report on the value of each stock and on each the total value
of the portfolio.
I haven't found one of the second type which I like. Therefore I have
made
a small Euphoria prog which merges the infobeat report with my local file
of number of shares for each stock, then prints out a report containing the
stock prices, the $ value of the stock holding, and the total of all holdings.
I realize some of you couldn't care less, but if others want my prog,
just
