Updates: Padlock 1.1, Quartz 1.5, Quartz Pro 1.5

Well, I've updated a few of my little libraries. They
should be posted to the list soon; otherwise, you can
download them from the web (I'm working on getting
another homepage, so I can store these in a more
visible manner...)

 ----------

PADLOCK 1.1

Simple, modest background encryption. Basically, some
efficiency improvements were implemented, plus speed
boosts for pl_puts() and pl_printf().

 ----------

QUARTZ 1.5

The next version of my object-orientation/class library.
I worked on 1.4, but never released it. 1.5 has all of the
improvements there (including new functions store_qobject
and load_qobject, for convienient longer-term storage of
q-objects on disk.) It also has a more liberal copyright/
distribution stance--do what you want with it, which is what
it should have been. Finally, a speed optimization across
the board gives it that lingering mellow flavor....

QUARTZ PRO 1.5

Quartz PRO??!! What's that?! Well, a while back someone
suggested an integer version of Quartz as opposed to the
standard string version. It would require extra coding
to get it to work, but would be faster. After struggling
with the choices, I decided to release an alternate
version. QP 1.5 is pretty much the same as standard Q, it
just has the extra overhead, for a noticeable speed gain.
I'll keep development of it parallel with Q.

That's it. I've got some ideas for Topaz I'm tinkering with,
and the Picasso beta is still brewing (with a few not-so-
small changes), so stay tuned...

Have fun,

Rod Jackson
