I know it is expensive, but I don't know any other way to accomplish what
you are trying to do. The actual product you need from them is not the
more expensive ERD Commander, but NTFSDOS Pro which is about
60% of the cost of the lowest version of ERD Commander. If you have a
Win98 system handy that you can move the drive into, you probably could
use NTFS for Win98 which is only $49. If you are using Encrypted File
System, you will probably have to go to one of the more expensive products,
but you can read the site and see. The products can be bought and directly
downloaded which might solve your speed problem.
