Next question then. I will not go into length with this simply because I don't want to bore everyone on the list. I have spent the last two and a half years coding a mud using a custom language and engine that someone designed. It was not a mainstream product. Anyway, due to money reasons I am no longer allowed to use that engine and now sit with over a meg of code written in a language actually very similiar to euphoria. So here is my question, I need to find a language that will allow me to design and engine to accept telnet connections, work easily with databases and not have too steep a learning curve. Is this something that you guys feel euphoria can handle or should I go back to looking a C. (something I really do not wish to do) Two and a half years are a lot of work, but to keep my world current and even more important, FREE, I am now forced to do that work. Any information would be helpful on where to start and if, in fact, euphoria is a good language for me to learn with this sort of a project in mind. thanks everyone, Paul
