Cross/Multi-platform Graphics
The project I mentioned a few days ago, of converting a QBASIC
program to Euphoria, and needing support for QBASIC-equivalent
graphics, has been met with great enthusiasm in the user
community. I now have several volunteers who are willing to sit
down and learn Euphoria to assist in the port - and I may be able
to convince them to join this list. However, we're still stuck
on one key item - duplicating 'console graphics' (i.e., like
those supported in the DOS version of Euphoria) for Linux. Can
_anyone_ point me to information that I can use so that our
porting party can _write_ this support? If we can get the basic
info, once we've written the support, it gets donated to the
Euphoria library - guaranteed.
N.B. - DragonLinux appears not to be an implementation that the
Linux version of Euphoria can run on - when I attempted to do so,
I got a message about some libraries not being found; apparently,
DragonLinux is not (yet) a libc6 Linux. I'll be trying LoopLinux
in the not-too-distant future...
