I'm not sure how you think mydata.ex should work,
but it works the way it was intended to work.
db_save() makes a copy of the current data on disk,
before it overwrites that data with any changes.
That way, you always have two copies on disk, with one lagging
behind the other in case you made a mistake and want to
go back to the previous version.
