I've been pretty happy with Brinkster (www.brinkster.com).  They don't put
any ads on your site, and also support asp.  Free members are limited to
200mb/mo, and there are restrictions on the type of files (no mp3, mpg, etc,
and no zip files over 1meg), but the service is generally pretty good (esp
for a freebie).
