It can be at least ( more than ) 1/2 as fast as the compiled program.

- as fast as we'd like
- well designed compiled
- possibly this fast
- possibly this fast
- possibly this fast
- possibly this fast
- possibly this fast
- not so well designed compiled or interpreted
- not so well designed compiled or interpreted
- not so well designed compiled or interpreted
- not so well designed compiled or interpreted
