Yes I was using an older IDE program (written in another language) that I got
from the archives.
And when I finally got the latest (Euphoria version 18-16) of IDE to work,
I found then new version to be much slower more than half the speed of the old
version.

I am speaking of the IDE program itself. It has no effect on the speed of
final code I create.
