As the subject indicates, you've got another newbie on the list. I downloaded Euphoria 1.4 last year, thought it was good, then promptly shelved it for the next few months (boo, hiss etc :) ). I re-interested myself in February, and I've just gotten hold of 1.5 recently. Enough of this prattle about me, now for the Euphoria: 1. I downloaded some of the archived .ex files from the web site on Wednesday, and found Jiri Babor's "Aliens game" (great stuff) and he states he doesn't know the name of the C64 game it was based on. I'll assume no-one has told him, and say "Astro-Panic" was probably the game he's thinking of. (Although "Chaos" is similar). I have the 80's computer magazine at home that the game first appeared in! 2. Would anyone be interested in a ".e" file that comprises a complete set of rational functions (i.e. fractions), 'cause I've written a beta version of said file, and it works quite well (if a little contrived in places)? 3. I've also written the "Ultimate, Do-Nothing-Constructive, Mathematical, Pretty-Pattern program", and if anyone wants it (warts and all, since I haven't updated the inbuilt instructions from the Qbasic version properly yet), they're welcome to mail me for it. :) /newbie disconnects See ya, Carl -- Carl R White | e-mail...: crwhite at comp.brad.ac.uk | finger...: crwhite at dcsun1.comp.brad.ac.uk | web......: http://www.student.comp.brad.ac.uk/~crwhite
