Actually, you can download windows updates from the
windows update catalog.  It can be found at
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/catalog/en/default.asp.
 It is a bit of a pain because you have to install
each on individually, and there's easy way to tell if
you need the update until you run the install routine.
