Mayor crunch: After this, you'll have it!

I'm in a mayor code crunch rigth now. I have a "last" algorithm to perform, that when I find this one, I will be able to A. Ship a copy of 3 compilers to you for testing, no extra crap, only 3 U4IA++ native compilers. B. Finally start work on that OS project I'm crappingly late with. I realy only need you to verify compilation. Visual tools, Interactive DOCS, utils, etc. are all pretty easy to wite and not error-happy. This is a last obstacle, IF I can see a way throught this code, and the method I'm planning is gonna work, U4IA++ is as good as done! However, I *realy* need info on this subject, it involves COFF files, and I think the person I should turn to (again) is DJ Delorie. Anyone have experiance with COFF file format constructs? It's realy something small I need to do, yet it's tricky (ie. Dynamiclally changing COFF contents) so it might need some tappering here and there. If someone would walk up to me and say: "Here pal, here's the sollution!", then you would be writing U4IA++ apps before you knew it. I could get bug reports, fix them (if any! :p), test some more, and then set up the legal shit in detail so I can ship it right away to the stores... All because of this shitty algo that I can't find info on, it's realy a 1-pass thing I need to do with the COFF files, yet I'm not sure *how* I have to do it and if it's possible. If it's not, I'm gonna be VERY pissed and write my own Linker... Mike The Spike ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
