Dear Friends,

At the risk of stating the obvious, I believe the best way of dealing with
Mr. Spike is simply to ignore him. Yes, it may be difficult to do so, but he
obviously likes the attention he's receiving as a result of his posts --
much like a six-year-old enjoys kicking over an anthill, and watching the
insects scurry about as a result of his destructive actions.

Unlike the ants, we at least have the option of ignoring our local
anthill-kicker. Mr. Spike will no doubt continue to pester us only while we
pay him any attention. If we ignore him long enough, he'll get bored with us
and find some other mailing list to pester, some other anthill to kick over.
One can but hope.

Mr. Spike's claims about what he's managed to create are like a jumbo-sized
jawbreaker: difficult to swallow without choking quite badly. Until he
deigns to prove his rather improbable claims, I suggest that he be ignored.

see, and understand, and know. That is, everything we do is reflective of
who and what we are.
