Fall 'n' Sift
Hello All,
A few years ago I posted my very first contribution to RDS.
It was a bundle of various graphical dos programms. One of
them was called "fall.ex" or "fall and sift" It would draw
lines and shapes and bitmaps on the screen and then make them
fall down to the bottom and sift like sand to a stable position.
Today I'm introducing a new Fall 'n' Sift. It's just a little
screen-saver type of program that uses neil.e. It does
basically the same thing the old one did except for a few
exceptions:
1) It's faster
2) it only does bitmaps now (no random polygons, sorry)
3) sifting can occurr at the same time things are falling.
3) more than one image can fall at a time.
4) it is customizable via the FNS.INI file.
I included an executable as well as the source for your
convenience. There does seem to be one bug left. sometimes
very rarely the program will abort with a causeway error.
because it's so rare and doesn't provide any debuging report
I can't figure it out.
