  Hello Pete,

I open Edita and let the cursor be (binking at the end of the line). There has
  to be text on the that line.

Hit return.

The cursor is here

or here
 |
or here
 |
with green(this color may very depending on your setting)

It (the cusor) does not always end up at the same place.

When the error occurs it's always here.
|

Right now I can't reproduce the error. So I will study it more closely next time
it comes up, and I'm sure it will.
