Look, I just want a non-MS OS PC to develop EU apps on! Is that so
difficult?

So, now the question is no longer which Linux distro, but rather, BSD or
Linux?

Who recommends what?

Please keep it EU-centric. If you've had success running EU on either *BSD
or Linux, please chime in!
